Easter and Spring season in Løkken
Løkken welcomes you to wonderful experiences on the Northwest coast. Go on a coastal adventure along the trail systems, which go from the charming town all the way up to the fantastic Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse. Especially in spring, hiking and cycling around Løkken are a wonderful experience. By the sea, the sky feels endless, and the clear light follows you throughout the landscape. In early May, 485 beautiful white beach huts are moved from their winter storage down to Løkken Beach. With beach huts in place and spring in the air, the atmosphere truly feels like a seaside holiday.

During the Easter holidays, many galleries and art exhibitions reopen their doors to the public, presenting new works and exhibitions. Every year, Børglum Abbey presents a new art exhibition for visitors and locals alike.

Easter Holidays and Spring Fun for Children
Løkken offers wonderful Easter activities and holiday memories for the whole family. Join horseback rides through forest and along the beach, or let little feet explore the Løkken Art Trail.
For water lovers, surf vibes await all levels and ages. Join a surf course at North Shore Surf, where skilled instructors teach the basics of equipment and technique. Safety and great holiday experiences are always a top priority, and children as young as 4 years old can participate.
There’s also plenty of indoor fun! At Action House, the whole family can enjoy quality time with bowling, go-kart racing, VR games, indoor playgrounds and much more.

New at Fårup Sommerland!
Spring 2026 also brings a brand-new attraction to Fårup Sommerland. The park will be open during Easter and offers new heights of excitement with VINGESUS!

Nordsøen Oceanarium Celebrates “EGG-cellent” Love
Easter brings exciting experiences at Nordsøen Oceanarium, where springtime love is blooming in the aquariums. In the transformed backstage area, a small fish nursery, you can experience eggs and young from species such as small-spotted catshark, whelks and lumpfish. Danish Salmon also presents the salmon’s development stages from egg to smolt.
Explore and find answers to questions such as: Do fish build nests? How many eggs does a lumpfish lay? And what makes shark eggs so special?

Grandparents’ Weekend on March 14–15: A perfect opportunity to create unforgettable memories with your grandchildren during a weekend full of special experiences.
Children’s Theatre on March 22: Play as I Say – an interactive musical performance about community and imagination, featuring newly composed classical music alongside familiar children’s songs. The children help create the different worlds of the performance.

The Taste of Easter
Restaurants have set the tables, brought out fleece blankets for the terraces and planted Easter flowers. Book a table at Restaurant Løkken Badehotel, where a refined spring/Easter menu is served, full of herbs, freshness and delicacy. With its beautiful location in the middle of the town square, you’ll enjoy an authentic Løkken experience.
In the small kitchen on Nørregade, RARTSTED offers a menu that is a symphony of flavours from Asian and Nordic cuisine. The place is small and intimate, but each dish is filled with colour and flavour, topped with ingredients from their own farm. And don’t forget to taste their homemade limoncello, produced from lemons grown in the owners’ own lemon grove in southern Italy.
