Nordjysk Pigekor is one of the region’s most renowned girls’ choirs, with roots dating back to the 1930s when it began as a children’s choir in Frederikshavn. Under the direction of composer and conductor Tage Mortensen, the choir took on its current name and grew into a respected musical institution.
Over the years, the choir has participated in countless projects and competitions both in Denmark and abroad – always performing at a high artistic level, earning widespread recognition in the music world.
Look forward to an atmospheric concert when Nordjysk Pigekor, conducted by Christina Kjærulff, performs in Rubjerg Church.
