HOOK & COOK - Sand Safari
With Monster on Sandsafari we are going on an adventurous hike along the North Sea
We walk along the North Sea to discover the many stories that sand has to tell. Where does sand actually come from? What is sand made of and what can sand be used for?
Through the discovery of the many stories about sand, we create a playful, artistic investigation of sand as a material. We follow the movements of sand in the landscape around us and through everyday landscapes, where sand is hidden in everything from toothpaste to mobile phones.
With Monster on Sandsafari is an artistic workshop for everyone between 6 - 12 years old and their adults. Here we mix drama pedagogical tools with nature communication and performing arts, which together create the framework for live communication.
Participation is free and the project is presented in collaboration with Lønstrup Tourist Association.
