Klithusegården - Skallerup Seaside Resort
The animalfarm at Skallerup Seaside Resort is a little slice of farm life right in the middle of your holiday with animals, calm surroundings, and plenty to explore for both children and adults.
Here you can meet the farm animals, help out at feeding time, or simply wander around at your own pace. Dyregården is located about 1.5 km from the holiday centre.
At Dyregården, you can get up close to everything that makes a farm visit a favourite: goats, pigs, rabbits, sheep and chickens (and several other animals too).
You can explore at your own pace — or join the daily feeding round, where you can help collect eggs and feed the animals.
Dyregården is also naturally connected to Skallerup’s riding centre, located in the same area. Here you’ll find both Icelandic horses and Shetland ponies, and guided rides are available for beginners, intermediate riders and experienced riders. The tours take you into the varied landscape around Skallerup — through forest, protected inland dunes, and all the way out onto the beach.
For the youngest guests, there are also pony led rides, where an adult must walk alongside and lead the pony (at a walking pace).
When you need a break, stop by Madam Blå’s Kitchen at Dyregården for things like cold drinks, coffee/tea, ice cream, or a little something sweet.
For guests staying on-site, admission is always free. For other visitors, entry to the farm costs DKK 35. Dyregården is open all year round.
