This summer, you have the chance to experience world history up close at Strandingsmuseum St. George during a free guided tour in German.
Your guide is former captain Jørgen Melchior, who will take you on a vivid and personal journey through the dramatic history of seafaring. You will learn about life aboard British warships and how massive shipwrecks shaped life along the west coast of Jutland.
The tour also explores the fate of local coastal communities that became witnesses to tragedy when the sea showed its untamed force.
The tour lasts approximately 45–60 minutes and offers unique insights into the museum’s exhibitions and their powerful stories.
