Dolphin safari
Take a boat trip and experience the unique nature at the western mouth of the Limfjord and the amazing dolphins in the Thyborøn Channel.
The pod of dolphins originates from Scotland, where researchers have followed them for many years. Dolphins can be identified by their dorsal fins, which is why Chewbacca, Leia and Tall Fin are known to be found in Thyborøn. The dolphins live in the Thyborøn Channel, where they search for food among schools of fish that enter the Limfjord.
The dolphins are just some of the animals that live in this part of the Limfjord. A large colony of seals and a rich bird life are also daily life on the western sandbanks.
