Discover a unique collection of tin toys at Holstebro Museum, featuring objects from the 1890s onwards.

Step into a lively world of mechanical toys where ships rock, planes spin, and robots move through simple mechanisms. The collection includes 1,500 items, with a selection currently on display.

The exhibition shows how tin toys have combined play, technology, and imagination across generations, while also reflecting the development of design and craftsmanship.

A family-friendly exhibition full of nostalgia, movement, and creativity.

The collection was donated to the museum by architect Hans Dissing (1926–1998) from Holstebro.
