Thyborøn Beach

The lifeguard towers are staffed with specially trained coastal lifeguards and are equipped with, among other things, defibrillators, rescue boards and first aid equipment.

Close to the beach there are kiosks and eateries. In addition, there is access to toilets.

In the nearby JyllandsAkvariet, various activities for children and adults are arranged throughout the year, including seal and dolphin safaris.

Thyborøn Beach has been awarded the Blue Flag in recent years – a visible sign that the beach and bathing water are clean and of high quality. Every year, the Danish Outdoor Council (Friluftsrådet) publishes the list of approved beaches and marinas before the official start of the bathing season on 1 June. On the Friluftsrådet website, you can keep up to date with the status for the current year.
