We are heading out to our awesome skills track, where we will improve our mountain bike skills through games and fun exercises. We are going to have a great time and maybe even make some new friends!

Since we will be staying at the skills track the entire time, it doesn't matter if participants are at different skill levels. However, it is an advantage if you are reasonably comfortable riding a bike and are around 9–14 years old. You don't need any prior MTB experience. Slightly younger children can also join if a parent stays on the sidelines, or if they are already used to riding MTB (for example, in a club).

You are more than welcome to bring your parents along so they can help you out or just watch how cool you are on the bike! If you feel perfectly safe being there on your own, you can also just give your parents some free time—maybe they would like to use the time to explore the trails in Svinkløv Plantage?

Bike Rental

If you don't have your own bike, you can rent one of our awesome mountain bikes—we also have bikes in kids' sizes. Booking is required – book rental bikes here.

What is included?

  • 1.5 hours of MTB skills and games for kids

  • Certified mountain bike instructor

  • A small snack during the session to keep our energy up

Practical Info

  • Meeting point: We meet dressed for the session at the start time at Feriecenter Slettestrand’s skills track, Slettestrandvej 26, 9690 Fjerritslev.

  • Helmet requirement: Wearing an approved and intact bicycle helmet is mandatory throughout the entire session (helmet is included in the bike rental, if applicable).

  • Clothing: We recommend clothing suitable for the season and the activity. It can get a bit windy on the skills track.

  • Hydration & snacks: Bring a full water bottle and perhaps a small snack (water bottles can be purchased at the reception).

  • Contact info: We recommend writing a parent/guardian's phone number on the bicycle helmet.
