Hook & Cook - Coastal Festival in Thorupstrand
On Saturday, September 6th, a strong music program will be presented at this year's Cutter Festival in Thorupstrand - as part of Hook & Cook.

Free Kutter Festival for all ages – right on the beach!
Come and enjoy a wildly fun children’s program and authentic live concerts featuring talented musicians – all spiced up with sand between your toes, cold draft beer/cocktails, and delicious North Sea specialties. Once again, these will set the scene for Thorupstrand’s very own Kutter Festival for both kids and adults.

11:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Raw Materials Market
Around 11:00 AM – Coastal Rescue Service: Rescue demonstration with the Coastal Rescue Team
1:00 PM – Uncle Reje (children’s entertainment)
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Open Boat with Jesper and Bo
The two brothers from the TV series “Gutterne på Kutterne” invite you aboard their blue fishing boat to share stories about life as fishermen in Thorupstrand.2:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Open Rescue Station
Get a rare behind-the-scenes look at how the Coastal Rescue Service operates.3:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Sofie’s Big Fish Show for kids

Food & Drinks:
You can buy delicious food at the following vendors:
- Thorupstrand Smokehouse & Jesper and Bo (from “Gutterne på Kutterne”) – Serving freshly smoked fish, homemade delicacies, and both lunch and dinner options (look for the white tent)
- Thorupstrand Fiskehus – Offering fish and chips and many other tasty dishes
- Haw'Kiosken Thorupstrand – Offering the famous Thorupstrand Burger, “stjerneskud” (a Danish seafood dish), delicious ice cream, cold drinks, and much more
- Strandbaren Revlen – Ready with ice-cold draft beer from Thisted Bryghus, ice cream from Ryaa Mejeri, local soft drinks, wine, and cold cocktails
Practical Info:
It’s a good idea to bring your own festival chairs or blankets, as seating may be limited.
Parking:
We’re currently working on a parking plan, as we’re expecting a large number of guests. We encourage everyone to leave home in good time. Please note that you may have to walk a short distance from the parking area to the festival grounds.
