St. George Shipwreck Museum
At the St. George Shipwreck Museum, you can get a close-up look at the dramatic shipwrecks that have shaped the west coast of Jutland – particularly the sinking of the British warships HMS Defence and HMS St. George in 1811. Here, you can delve into stories about the ships, the sailors and how the coastal communities coped with the disaster.
Accessibility:
Wheelchairs are available to borrow, and the museum features a lift (excluding the observation tower), wide corridors, hard flooring, toilets and a lift. The St. George Shipwreck Museum is an accessible museum where everyone – including wheelchair users and those with mobility difficulties – can experience the stories of dramatic shipwrecks and life by the sea. The museum is spread over several floors, and a lift makes it easy to get around everywhere.

Hjerl Hede
At Hjerl Hede Open-Air Museum, you can explore historic buildings, traditional crafts and village life from the 17th to the 20th centuries.
Accessibility:
There are many well-maintained paths, making the area accessible to most wheelchairs and pushchairs, but please be aware that the paths can be difficult to navigate in wet weather. Not all buildings are accessible by wheelchair or walking frame, as they have been preserved with narrow entrances and steps. Wheelchairs and walking frames can be borrowed free of charge from the visitor centre, and carers with a valid carer’s card are granted free admission.

Holstebro Museum
The museum is easy for everyone to visit – including wheelchair users. The main entrance is wheelchair-accessible and provides access to the exhibitions, lecture theatre, café and shop. There is a disabled toilet at the entrance and two disabled parking spaces directly opposite the museum.

Holstebro Art Museum
The museum’s main entrance is also the disabled entrance and provides access to all exhibitions, the café, the shop and the lecture theatre. There are two disabled parking spaces on Museumsvej (access via Sønderbrogade).
Accessibility:
Lifts and escalators make it easy to get around the whole museum. There are accessible toilets both at the entrance and within the exhibition spaces. Experience modern and contemporary art in an accessible setting.

VW & Retro Museum, Ulfborg
