Every Wednesday in July and August, you can join a free guided walking tour through the pedestrian street of Holstebro. You will be taken on an inspiring journey through the city streets, where history comes alive and art meets you at eye level. This is the story of how Holstebro transformed into the cultural powerhouse it is today. Naturally, the tour passes the iconic sculpture "Maren" and continues through the city center, while the guide spices up the route with both historical facts and quirky, little-known anecdotes hidden behind the facades.
This is the perfect summer activity for anyone looking to experience the soul of the city and spot the hidden details easily missed on your own – whether you are a tourist or a local.
- Time: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM (13.00 – 14.30).
- Meeting point: In front of the Old City Hall (Det Gamle Rådhus), Nørregade 25 (the tour ends at the same location).
