Uldsvineriet - Bed and Breakfast

Uldsvineriet is located at the edge of the world near Lemvig. Here, where the horizon is low and the sky stretches wide, Rikke and Frank have created a true escape from the everyday. This former boar breeding station has been carefully transformed into five charming holiday apartments with visible beams, high ceilings, and large west-facing windows that open up to the sea breeze and the raw beauty of the North Sea.

The apartments are thoughtfully designed with deep respect for the original buildings and materials – old stable pipes have been repurposed into railings and coat racks, and all furniture is handmade by a talented local carpenter with an eye for both form and function.

Here, you can sleep deeply – up to 12 hours in complete silence if city life has worn you out. And once you're awake, more than peace awaits: relax in the sea-view sauna, try bouldering in the barn, or get close to the many animals living freely on the farm – woolly pigs, Icelandic horses, chickens, geese, and more.

A midwife also lives on the farm, so Uldsvineriet embraces both new life and much-needed pause. It's a place full of heart and character, where nature, craftsmanship, and calm go hand in hand.
