Seal safari with an educational boat

Experience the seals from the waterside.

Join the fast boat that sails out from Thyborøn Harbor or Agger Tange. From here it sails out into the Limfjord's shipping lanes between sandbanks; a maritime labyrinth. Along the Thy National Park you can watch the seals resting on the sandbanks.

In the western Limfjord lives a huge colony of both the cute harbor seal and the impressive large gray seal. The seals benefit from the calm waters and the many sandbanks in the Limfjord, where they can get a much-needed quiet rest while still being in close proximity to the North Sea, where they find their food.

Booking is done on Jyllandsakvariet's website, where you can quickly and easily book a ticket for the departure that suits you best. There are plenty of departure times to choose from, but if you do not find a trip on the day or at the time you want, you are very welcome to contact Jyllandsakvariet and inquire about the possibility of an extra departure.

The meeting point is Havnegade 5C, at the marina in Thyborøn.

Meet up at the boat approx. 15 min before departure.
