Regional and national cycling routes
Holstebro municipality has no less than four regional cycling routes: Nr. 17 - Around Nissum Fjord, No. 18 goes between Ringkøbing-Holstebro-Skive, No. 24 between Holstebro-Thisted and No. 32 Harboøre-Brande. From national cycling routes you can choose from the No. 1 West Coast route from the Danish / German border to Skagen which goes through Holstebro municipality from Vedersø Klit to Thorsminde. No. 12 The Limfjord route runs along smaller roads around the coast of the Limfjord. In Holstebro municipality from Handbjerg to Sønder Lem Vig.
Regional and national cycling routes
Holstebro municipality is traversed by four marked regional cycling routes: No. 17 (around Nissum Fjord), No. 18 (Ringkøbing-Holstebro-Skive), No. 24 (Holstebro-Thisted) and No. 32 (Harboøre-Brande) - so it is easy to find a suitable route through the countryside.
National cycling routes also pass through Holstebro. For the extra hard-working, the trip can be extended by the North Sea Trail, which was established in 2001 as a continuous route through eight countries around the North Sea.
