Mad Ved Havet
Mad ved Havet is a small organic kitchen and eatery located on the edge of the dunes and the North Sea. Here, we work with seasonal vegetables, colourful presentations, and a deep love for plant-based cuisine.
The food is made from scratch – using approximately 95% organic ingredients – and served with attention to taste, aesthetics, and sustainability. Dishes are vegetarian or vegan (occasionally including fish) and vary according to the season and availability of local produce.
The café shares a building with the Tuskær Cultural Centre, and as a guest, you are welcome to visit the exhibitions or enjoy a short walk down to the North Sea.
Opening hours (June–August):
Thursday–Saturday 1–4 pm
Sunday 10 am–4 pm (brunch)
There are also occasional Friday evenings with TAPAS servings (ask for details) and the option to take your food down to the beach for a picnic-style meal.
The café welcomes walk-ins, but we recommend booking a table for weekends.
