The idea for one of Europe's best skate parks - Lemvig Skatepark – came from a just 13-year-old local boy. Now children and young people - experienced as well as beginners - romp on the 1,200 square meters located in the east harbour of Lemvig. Close to playground, shopping and the opportunity for crab fishing.

The skate park has been named one of the 13 best and finest skate parks in Europe by the internationally renowned skater magazine Kingpin. The magazine focuses on the many items within the park, which means that even the most experienced skater can challenge themselves, as well as the stunning waterfront location of the park. Bring your skateboard, scooter, BMX or rollerblades and challenge each other on the hills.

The skate park is for people of all skill levels, so even the smallest untried beginner can join in, and the more experienced and advanced thrill-seeker can challenge themselves.

Should you get hungry after all the fun activities, you can bring a packed lunch or barbecue to enjoy in the park along with a beautiful view of Lemvig Harbour. There are barbecues, benches and tables all free to use. There is also the option of going out to eat. The skate park is located just a few minutes’ walk from the city's excellent and child-friendly restaurants. The park's central location also means that those who are filled up by experiences at the skate park, can walk to the pedestrian street in just a few minutes and explore the city's many shops.
