Lebendige Geschichte erleben – Sommer im Freilichtmuseum Hjerl Hede
Go on a historical journey hundreds of years back in time.
Experience the Living Open-Air Museum, where houses and workshops come to life just like in the old days.
From June 28 to August 10, daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Hjerl Hede is brought to life. Meet the grocer, the priest’s family, the bakers, the cooper, and many others who will take you back in time, thanks to the many volunteers dressed in authentic period costumes.
It’s a true journey through time where generations can share a memorable experience. Discover how everyday life was lived hundreds of years ago, with stories waiting around every corner.
All summer long, the old steam train and horse-drawn carriages are running, with both regular and changing activities throughout the season.
