The museum is looking forward to bid you welcome to their annual Christmas Bazar. This lovely traditional Christmas event is held at the local historic museum in wich case is known as; the House of Johanne Grønbech.
Christmas Spirit at Løkken Museum
As tradition goes, Løkken Museum once again invites everyone to a cozy Christmas gathering in the atmospheric Johanne Grønbech’s House. Here you can warm yourself with the museum’s special Christmas gløgg and enjoy freshly baked waffles – made from an old recipe on the traditional wood-burning stove using a classic waffle iron.
The charming old skipper’s house is festively decorated with fir branches and candlelight, creating a warm and authentic Christmas atmosphere.
At the same time, you can explore this year’s Christmas exhibition, showcasing a variety of exciting and interesting items that have been added to the museum’s collection over the past year.
Of course, you can also visit the museum’s other exhibitions about the history of Løkken, focusing on trade, craftsmanship, fishing, and tourism. Highlights include the exhibition about the Løkken painters and works by Christian Valentinusen.
