Grain Day

Summer is here and it is time for the harvest. The small crop fields at the Discovery Center are ready to be harvested, and we will take a closer look at the crops to see how they look both before and after harvesting. Children and adults can try out our flour mills and grind their own flour. You can also try binding your very own mini straw bale from fresh hay. We will light a campfire and bake campfire bread (snobrød) using Danish flour.

As always, you can visit the farm animals and enjoy a ride in a horse-drawn carriage.
