We have two departments under one roof:
Café Sydvendt is our restaurant – and just outside, Fiskehuset operates the fish van from Monday to Friday, with a pop-up fish counter inside the café on Saturdays. This is where we get our fresh fish every day for the kitchen.
Our menu is designed to offer something for the whole family. Whether you’re into schnitzel, fish, or burgers, you’ll find something here – and yes, we still serve a juicy, classic Danish beef sandwich!
We personally source the best day-fresh fish from Hanstholm and prepare everything by hand – including smoking in our own smokehouse. That means you’ll really taste the difference in freshness and craftsmanship – whether you choose fish & chips, stjerneskud (Danish open-faced fish dish), or our popular catfish burger.
Almost all dishes are available as takeaway – perfect for a day by the fjord or an easy dinner at home.
We also offer catering for larger events – such as fish “layer cakes,” cold cuts platters, roast pork, or beef stew. Call or stop by – we’ll find a solution that fits your celebration.
