Anne Justs Have - the Garden at Hune
Anne Justs Have – a flower painter’s garden - 7500 m2 of colour-themed gardens in a pleasantly hilly landscape. The garden is thoughtfully composed, yet it appears, akin to the English romantic garden, as if it were designed, not by human hands, but by nature, and is thus sympathetic to nature’s own unique beauty.
Anne Just's Garden is a sensory retreat – lush, blooming, and full of atmosphere. Architect Claus Bonderup laid the foundation with clean lines and clear structure, which the painter Anne Just later filled with floral abundance, vibrant colours, and organic shapes.
The result is a garden that balances architectural calm with flourishing charm. You’ll find sightlines and axes that guide the eye, as well as many small garden rooms, each with its own character. Wander among perennials, climbing roses, and water features. The garden awakens the senses with its scents, textures, colours, and sounds.
This is a garden to be felt with your whole body. Walk slowly, take in your surroundings, and be inspired by a place where art and a love of gardening go hand in hand.
When you’re ready for a break, settle down in the Café and enjoy the famous kringle – baked using Anne Just’s original recipe. Don’t miss the shop either, where you’ll find prints of Anne Just’s original works, books, and other carefully selected products – all rooted in this very place.
