Tour // Art Trail

*This tour is conducted in Danish*

Join on an exclusive tour with illustrator, Lise Vestergaard. Løkken Art Trail was officially completed with maps and coloring books last summer. Now one of the artists is back in Løkken to exhibit her works in the Løkken Art Pavilion and take you "behind the scenes" of her murals.

During the winter break, you can go on a guided tour with Lise Vestergaard, who will tell you how her inspiration from UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) have become 17 murals along Løkken Art Trail. Get up close and hear about the stories and free interpretations when an art project of this format gets launched.

The trail is about 5 km and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way. The tour requires tickets and can be purchased here.

Lise Vestergaard is one of the 19 artists who have contributed new works to the community and together with the already existing works by stone carvers, metal welders, ceramicists, and sculptors they together form Løkken Art Trail.

The relationship between Løkken and Lise Vestergaard has been ongoing since 2019, when Lise was hired to paint the mural Blown Away, which can be seen on Jens Bang's Sti. Since then, Lise has exhibited at Løkken Art Festival, painted the mural at Løkken Museum, Natures way and finally the 17 murals.

The artist has recently been in the media after being nominated and winning the "The Faces of Peace Art Prize" for her 17 murals. The prize is awarded by Contemporary Art Curator Magazine, and is an award given to 70 artists worldwide.
