Exhibition with Andy Warhol - Børglum Abbey
Every year at Easter, Børglum Abbey offers new and unique art exhibitions. "Andy Warhol at Børglum Abbey" is a unique opportunity to experience one of the biggest names in art history.
Works by the world-renowned pop artist Andy Warhol are exhibited from Easter in a historic setting at Børglum Monastery. More than 50 works by the pop artist Andy Warhol can be experienced at the new exhibition that opens on April 1st.
Warhol is considered one of the fathers of pop art, and at the exhibition you can experience an extensive collection of Warhol's works, which cover most elements of his world of motifs. Artworks by Marilyn Monroe, Chanel bottles and Mickey Mouse are among the many works you can experience at the exhibition.
The works all belong to a private collector and the exhibition has been in preparation for more than a year. The curator of the exhibition is the well-known art historian Thyge Christian Fønss-Lundberg, who has extensive knowledge of Andy Warhol's works and career.
