Dolphin safari in the Limfjord
Join us on a boat trip and experience the unique nature at the mouth of Limfjorden. Jyllandsakvariet's experienced guide sails through the labyrinth of fairways between the sandbanks and takes you up close.
Several of the dolphins in the pod have already been identified. Mischief, Chewbacca and Tall Fin are some of the animals in this pod. The dolphins have been observed in the channel almost daily, both during the day and in the evening, when they are particularly active in search of food.
The dolphins are just some of the animals that live in this part of the Limfjord. A large colony of seals and a rich bird life are also common on the western sandbanks.

Meeting point: Havnegade 5C, 7680 Thyborøn
Duration: Approx. 1.5 hours. Meeting time at the boat 10 min. before departure
Small children: We have life jackets for children from 2 years and up, but unfortunately we cannot sail with younger children without prior agreement. Contact Jyllandsakvariet to make arrangements
Dogs: Dogs are not allowed on this tour
Clothing: Passengers must wear windproof/waterproof clothing. Remember it is cooler out on the water than on land
The boat: The boat is an open motorboat, ensuring passengers the best view during the tour.
There is no dolphin guarantee on the tour. The animals are wild animals that decide for themselves where and when they want to be here. Jyllandsakvariet, on the other hand, guarantees a wonderful boat trip with lots of exciting stories about the animals and the area.
The tour takes place on the animals' terms. Everyone's safety - both the animals' and our own - is our top priority.
