Dog Wood in Tørvekær by Vilsbøl Dune Plantation in Thy National Park
Let your dog run around freely in Vilsbøl Hundeskov in National Park Thy.
You will find the fenced 19 hectare dog forest on the south side of Klitmøllervej just northwest of Vandet Sø.
The dog forest covers an area of approximately 20 ha.
The forest is located on an old peat bog, which about 40 years ago was planted with mainly coniferous species. The trees are still here and form a fine forest.
The forest is accessible for prams, wheelchairs (with companion), as well as people with walking difficulties.
From the southern part of the forest there is a view of Vandet Lake.
There is a parking space by the forest, and there is a driveway from Klitmøllervej.
