Børglum Kloster: Upheaval – When the World Changes Direction
During the winter holiday of 2026, a new exhibition titled Upheaval – When the World Changes Direction opens to the public.
The exhibition focuses on historical turning points – told from a local perspective.
Through objects, stories and images, the exhibition explores periods when the world changes and how these transformations are experienced and reflected in the local community. Major historical events are connected to everyday life in the area, creating a strong and relatable narrative.
The exhibition has been created in close collaboration with the local historical archives in Løkken, Vrensted and Vrå, offering a unique insight into how global history is mirrored at a local level.
