On October 22, 2019, Murer Kjeld and his Team Rubjerg Knude Fyr moved 70 meters away from the edge and into the Rubjerg Knude. This was the culmination of several months of preparatory work, moving tons of sand.
Journalist Jepser Christiansen followed Murer Kjeld throughout the work, and that is what a beautiful book came out of.
The book is called the Lighthouse - the story of Murer Kjeld and the relocation of Rubjerg Knude Fyr.
Both Murer Kjeld and jesper Christiansen will be present and will sign books on Saturday morning at Lønstrup Tourist Office from 2 pm. 11 am - 1 pm.
We offer a cup of coffee and a local bask here at the Tourist Office.
